DC++ HELP: error registering magnet link handler
Hey guys, I finally got around to dling DC++ today. I'm on res and I connected successfully to the mac hub. However, whenever I try to search for files, nothing comes up and at the bottom is says "error registering magnet link handler". I've looked everywhere and can't find a solution. Anyone help please?

Thank you!

If you're running Windows Vista or 7, run the program as an administrator one time. To do this just go into the start menu, right click DC++, and click Run as Administrator. It should work after that. After you do this once, you never have to do it again and can just run it normally.

if you are behind a firewall that you have access to, open up a couple ports, then go to the options and set yourself as active.. if you cant, set yourself as passive..
