DC/Shakespeer help?
Hi,

I recently just bought a new macbook pro, and having made the change from a windows system, am now trying to set up Shakespeer on it.

I followed the instructions on the various guides (http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...t=shakespee r and http://www.macinsiders.com/showthread.php?t=1970 4&highlight=shakespee r), but my problems remain.

After starting up, it shows/says that I am connected to the hub (machub.dyndns.org), then after a little while "You've been disconnected because the negotiation between your client and the hub took too long"

I tried using various different hub addresses from the drop down list (including http://www.machub.dyndns.org ), but it still didn't work. I also have "Connect to remote back end server" unchecked. I am currently sharing ~600 MB of stuff.

Thoughts/suggestions?

Cheers.

i haven't gotten that error message before, but i'm also on a macbook, and when i've had trouble connecting to shakespeer i've just waited a while and then tried again, and usually it works. and you do have the right hub address (machub.dyndns.org).

Hey,

Yeah, I've been having the same problem with my mac.

I got it working yesterday by just closing the connection and typing in 'machub.dyndns.org' again...

...but then I opened it again today and it's back to the same thing.
