shakespeer trouble

shakespeer trouble
i downloaded shakespeer on my mac, and i am currently trying to connect to the hub using hub2.dyndns.org or machub.dyndns.org and i keep getting a message that says "disconnected from hub!" not sure what to do....any suggestions?

If you're on res, I would opt to use DC ++ instead. It's much faster.

DC++ is only for Windows, the OP said he/she uses a Mac. ....did you share any files? I believe there's a minimum file size you have to be sharing.

i don't think i'm able to share files since i can't connect to the hub.

also now while i'm connected through wireless, it says, "***Your share is outside the limits for your Prfile. Min share is [512.00MB]."

if you're going through a router, you need to port forward the incoming port for shakespeer. Go to www.portforward.com for more info on how to do it. Also put something thats more than 512MB in your DC uploads folder (make one if you already don't have one, and direct shakespeer to that folder for uploads). You need to wait for maybe a couple of minutes until the file hashes, and then you're good to go. If you still have issues pm me.

I used DC++ on a Mac?

Then again, this was like 3 years ago. lol, I probably can't remember.

Mac's only have shakespeer.
