Shakespeer
Does anyone have Shakespeer running on their computer (it's like DC++ but for Macs)? I'm having trouble getting it started and I am wondering if anyone has any pointers.

I had trouble getting it started too!
Here's what I did to fix it:
Go under Shakespeer>preference s>advanced. Make sure the box beside "connect to remote backend server" is unchecked. Under hublist address type in "http://www.machub.dyndns.org ".
Exit the preferences window, and in the main Shakespeer window click the orange Connect To Hub button. You'll need to put in a nickname and type "machub.dyndns.or g" for address.

To be able to download, you'll need to have 500MB of files to share. Go to Preferences again, and go under the Share tab. It'll have the names of the folders where you're sharing from and where your downloads will go to, as well as a window showing what files you can share (yours will be empty). Under this window there's a plus and a minus button. Click the plus button and choose a file you want to share (eg. from iTunes). Under where the buttons are, it says Total Share Size (hashed) - this tells you how much you can share. When it reaches over 500 MB you're good to go!

I hope this helps, if you have anymore questions just ask!

Ok, thanks for the advice. Did you ever have trouble connecting to the Mac Hub. I put in the address and after it tries connecting for a while it say: "failed to lookup 'machub.dyndns.org': request timed out". Did this ever happen to you and/or do you know what to do about it?

I'm not sure about this year but last year the alternate hub address was: hub2.dyndns.org, worth a try.
