December Test Ban
Wondering what exactly this "test ban" covers from late November up until exams. The course outline of one of my courses says that I have a project due on December 3, which would fall during the test ban. Should I be contacting my prof or is this acceptable???

I am not entirely sure, but i think it means that you will not have any tests during the "test ban" period.

Edit: Yep! It means that you will not be given any tests during "test ban".

A project is not a test, so it doesn't count in the "test ban". Where it gives the dates of the ban it specifies that "no tests or exams may be held during class time."

Also, I did a quick google search, and it turns out some courses can apply to get exemptions from the test ban...quite a few have, actually.

There are also exceptions based on what its worth - a 3% quiz for example is not included in the ban.
