Kinesiology at McMaster is a direct-entry 4-year program. During the first two years, students complete a comprehensive selection of courses that exposes them to the sub-disciplines of Kinesiology:
  • Human Anatomy and Physiology
  • Biomechanics
  • Psychomotor behaviour
  • Sociology, Physical Activity and Sport
  • History and Philosophy of Kinesiology
  • Exercise Physiology
  • Health Psychology
In their 3rd and 4th years, students have the freedom to specialize and tailor their studies to prepare them for a number of in-demand careers including rehabilitation medicine, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, teaching, coaching, health and exercise promotion, sport and recreation management, fitness and exercise prescription, and recreational leadership. McMaster University is proud to report that its Kinesiology program is the first in Canada to be accredited by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators. The Department of Kinesiology admits 200 students annually to Kinesiology I.

I will be registered in Social Science I this comming year, but I really really want to take an anatomy course because I love it soo much. Is there any way I can take the anatomy course offered by the Kinesiology department even though I'm not registered in that faculty? thanks!

Check the requirements for the anatomy courses on the Undergraduate Calendar and it'll tell you who can take it. It looks as though you can take anatomy, as long as you're registered in Science 1A00.
