Disabilities and Residence
I'm just wondering if anyone knows the minimum amount of units a student can take who has a disability and still live in residence. I know I read somewhere that students can take a minimum of 24 units for a full year or 12 units in second semester, but I don't know if it would be different for students with disabilities.

I plan to see housing and conference services and ask them next week but I'm wondering first if anyone has experience with this.

That seems weird.

I'd think it would be any full-time student, which is 18 units or more per year.

As both a student with a disability and a student in residence, I believe that we're allowed to stay in residence as long as we have the 18 credits. Personally, the fewest number that I have ever been enrolled in is 24 units. I will double check for you though.

Thank you, ferreinm, I appreciate it. This semester has just been beyond a train wreck with adjusting, but I wouldn't be taking less than 24. I just don't want to do that and then have a similar issue next semester and be totally screwed for living.
