What to do if the course you want is FULL?
I've chosen all my courses and they are all available except for one, but I really wanted that multimedia elective. How do I get into that full course?

Also I need to take Kin 1Y03 AND 1YY3 for my program (Medical Radiation Sci) but this keeps coming up..
" You do not have the academic requisites for course: KINESIOL 1YY3 2 D "
You do not have the academic requisites for course: KINESIOL 1Y03 1 D

Please help me!

If it's a mandatory course for your degree they have to give you a spot. If you are missing the requisite, find out what the requisite is by checking the course on the course list. If you have the requisites and cannot get in, talk to academic adviser. If you want an elective which is full, tough luck. Trade with someone or keep trying everyday

The co-requisite is HTH SCI 1BS0 and that was the first one that I selected but still it said you don't have the requisites.. My second choice as an elective is also full. Is it possible to choose another elective that I am really not interested in and confirm the payment agreement, and trade with someone else afterwards?

you have until that specific class starts to get in the elective u want. relax. lots of ppl will change their courses once timetables come out and in the first week of school. those are prime times to get into classes.

If you want to take a course that is under the Faculty of Humanities, fill up the Seat Allocation form, which does wonders to a lot of people.

https://webserver.humanities. mcmas...nt/allocation/

P.S. Multimedia is one of those courses that gets fill up fast because it is one of the most popular Humanities course...

I only know the url of the request form for the Faculty of Humanities. I don't know if the Faculty of Social Science has one. You can check their website for it.

There's a form for Labour Studies.

Why not take that one, and the one from Humanities, as a guide, adapt them and send it in?
You're a university student. You know how to write.

(Be sure to quote the part about "It will be a priority to respond in two days")

you will most likely be able to get into the electives you want before the end of the drop/add period (the first week of school). Dont panic!!!! just keep trying after the full timetable is released and lots of people will drop it the first week of school. I didnt get my electives last year until the day before the drop/add period ended and it was fine!
