just keep checking regularly on solar to see if a spot opened up
and during the first week of classes lots of changes happen so there's a high chance that someone might drop out of that class so just keep checking

In the Faculty of Humanities, there is a seat allocation form that you can fill out to get a chance for you to get a seat in any Humanities class if they happen to be full.

Not sure if other faculties have such form like that but that's one way of doing it...

Depends on the course, but generally there's not much anyone can do for you unless it's a required course for your degree or something along those lines.

Just keep trying, a lot of time left and like others have said: many people drop and add during the first couple weeks of the term, so between now and then you might have luck getting in using SOLAR. Keep at it, goodluck

There's still plenty of time, don't worry! Lots of people drop and change courses within the first 2 weeks of school.
