Depends on the person. For example, I slept 2 hours before my Chem 1AA3 exam this semester, and I ended up acing it. No coffee or anything, either. I was completely focused during the exam too.
So yeah, depends completely.

Yes I agree. I also think it changes from exam to exam, depending on how little sleep you got the few days prior to it. This semester I wrote the PSYCH 1XX3 exam on 90 minutes of sleep and was wide awake but last semester when I tried the same thing with BIO 1A03, I fell asleep halfway through the exam period. Thankfully I woke up after just a few minutes.

I am up now studying for my physiology exam .... drank 2 coffee cups and 1 ripit energy drink I feel so HYPERRRRRRRRRRRRR
