Advice? Chill. 6-7 is so not the end of the world. And even if it were, you have 7 more semesters to make up for it.

Further, I don't think grades matter as much in finding a job as you might think. It's really all about your experience and your actual skills.

So my advice is do your best now, figure out how you can improve and do it. The hole you're in isn't nearly as big as the one I've seen people dig for themselves in first year.

It depends on if you're applying to a second year program that has specific mark requirements for certain courses. Ex., PNB requires at least a 7 in each psych course.

a 6 or 7 in one course will not decide a single thing in your life.

A 6-7 is NOT the end of the world, that too in your first semester of university. Everyone's marks tend to drop during the first semester, so don't worry you're definitely not alone. I actually got a 7 in the first semester chem course because it was so overwhelming for me, but by the time I finished chem 1aa3 my final mark went up 3 whole grade points. So don't worry!!

what. the only medical job you would have trouble getting with all 6s is being a doctor. 99% of other medical related jobs you could still get. even with all 6s you could still get in a med school somewhere far away from canada.
