PSYCH 1X03 you must take first term. PSYCH 1XX3 you must take 2nd term.

And no, your schedule does not look hard for a first year. Most students will have very similar schedules.

Also, you only need 30 units of classes (15 per semester), so you may want to narrow down that list.

Psych 1X03 is always in first term and 1XX3 in second term. As for the workload, it's about the same for everyone in Life Sci I, so it's no where near impossible .

No, I wouldn't call that a hard first year.

if u are absolutely sure u don't need chem 1aa3, then i'd ay ur good. However, I strongly advise you put it in there or take it in the summer.

Can Econ 1B03 be taken any term? or is it always 1st term, then Macroeconomics 2nd term?

I believe you can take them in any order.

Both are offered both terms and you don't have to take them in any particular order.

That's a pretty normal schedule. Also, if you're in science (which I assume you are since you're taking the bio courses), you should definitely take chem 1AA3. You're severely limiting yourself in terms of 2nd year programs if you don't. I think the only ones you can do are honours life sci and (maybe) psych.

Thanks for the reply guys! But I'm also going to do a summer school term. My question is: Since I'm taking summer school courses do I have to take all the required courses for the program in 1st and 2nd term and electives in summer term? Or can i make it easier and take a mix of the required courses and electives in 1st and 2nd term, then the other required courses in summer school?

so for example taking chem in summer school and replace with like... peace studies in term 1?

You get a conditional acceptance, but there is a limit to the number of units they'll let you complete in the summer before 2nd yr to count towards course requirements for your 2nd yr program (I think it's 6 units). By planning to take chem in the summer, you're potentially screwing yourself over if you fail anything, or if something happens and you can't do summer school for that term, etc.

Except for chem 1a03, the two psych courses, and bio 1a03, the rest of your courses are already super easy. I suggest you take chem 1aa3 second semester and drop something you don't really want/need or is just an elective.

EDIT: Plus you have 33 units already in your top 10 because of Soc 1A06. You're already overloading and you don't even have Chem 1aa3?

If you're in life science, then I agree with Alchemist - chem 1AA3 is probably more important than some of the courses you're taking / considering.
