Of course you're not doing anything, it's after the last day of classes. My friends in Toronto indie band Magneta Lane are playing a show at the Casbah on Thursday April 8th. If you haven't heard them, they're a three-piece all-girl band on Last Gang Records. It's quite excellent garage-pop, if you ask me. Their latest record, Gambling With God, is produced by Jon Drew, the same fellow behind albums by Tokyo Police Club and Hamilton's own Arkells.

I saw them 4 years ago with TPC and Controller Controller. Fun show : )

I'm jealous. controller.controller broke up before I got a chance to see them live.

Though I did see c.c lead singer Nirmala join the ladies of Magneta on stage for a song back in February! That was a real treat.

I saw them 3 or 4 years ago in St. Catharines when they opened for Alexisonfire. They were pretty good, I'm glad they're still going strong =D

I first met them about 4 years ago too. They were the first band that I started concert photography with, and they also turned out to be really really cool
