Looking for something to do this Thursday night?
If you’re looking for a place to have fun with your friends before exams start, look no further! Team Bolivia, part of Global Youth Network at Mac, is hosting a wicked fundraiser this Thursday night (April 1st) at Ceilidh House in support of their upcoming volunteer expedition.
This event is going to include performances by local talents Nate Gerber and Johnny Parente. There will also be raffle prizes, stand-up comedy and much more.
Bolivia is one of the poorest and least developed countries in South America: according to Unicef, nearly 60% of the population lives in poverty. While in Bolivia, team members will be working on various humanitarian projects, most of which will involve working with children in disadvantaged areas.
Doors open @ 7pm and there is a cover fee of $5 per person.
Ceilidh House is located at 107 George St. (Irish pub, Hess Village).
So... if you're not doing anything else, come on down, bring your friends and know that you are also contributing to a good cause!
Good luck with your last full week of classes!
Best Regards,
Liana(ellywinkle)
