The second year courses I did the best in were
Geo 2HC3 - Canada (I don't remember this course at all)
Pol Sci 2C03 - Force and Fear (My favourite course in university, don't think it's being offered anymore)
Pol Sci 2I03 - International Relations (not particularly interesting but the prof was fun)

A lot of the second year Geo courses are easy. Specifially Geo 2EI3, Geo 2RC3, Geo 2B03, Geo 2GG3 (assuming Riller isn't teaching it), and Geo 2WW3.

Water's probably easier. Gemstone's gotten more difficult recently.

They recently changed the prof and course structure for gemstones. It is being taught by Lopez and there are only 2 tests (30% each) and an exam (40%). I think this year there are no assignments or labs.

I was thinking of taking geo 2B03 and Smith, J is teaching the course. I'm not sure if she's an easy prof or not?

I have Natural Disasters 2GG3 next semester, does anyone know how Lopez is?
In terms of his teaching style and whether or not he is a good prof?

Geo 2EI3 is by far the easiest I've taken. Only 2 hours of class a week and a podcast. No assignments, and I studied for the exam the day of and got an A in the course

English 2E03 was super easy for me. Just 2 essays and an exam, and Dr. King made it very straightforward.

I'm taking this course with Khan, how was it? I heard test questions come straight out of the course ware, is that true? Thanks in advance.

I don't really think there's a universally "easy" elective...most people said that the first-year Econs were easy, but I know some smart people who didn't really do that well in them.
It depends more on what you're into. The Soc Sci and Humanities students will obviously list their easiest respective courses, as will every other faculty.
Unless your average really needs the boost, I wouldn't recommend picking a elective just 'cause you heard it's easy. Second-year is when the electives start getting more specific, so why not just go for something you're interested in? Wouldn't you rather get a good mark in something that you enjoy and like working on? I know there a bunch of Communications courses I'd like to take if I weren't attempting a Business minor.
Anyway, wouldn't "easy" be defined by what program you're in and what you like? Poli Sci might be easier for someone who's in Soc Sci and has decent writing skills, but the average engineer might have trouble with it. On the other hand, something like an entry-level Math or Stats would be terribly easy for an engineer but difficult to everyone else.
