any suggestions for a 3rd year science student for electives?

Find a service type class (EARTHSC 2GG3) that you think might be interesting and go from there. If a class is boring to you it can be real tough to do well. Even the easiest classes on campus have a class average under 80%.

Easy is a very relative word. What one may find easy another may not. In my opinion, I took Health Age 1AA3 and I found the course extremely interesting. I did not take one note in the class but attended ALL lectures and participated a lot during tutorials. I got a 12 in the course and It has been one of my favorites so far.
