6 units Electives (See Program Note 1 above.)

Yet it doesn't say if it has to be from the Science faculty ?

If you are in SCIENCE, you CAN NOT take Inquiry 1HU3 because it is for Humanities students only. (aka. Registration in Humanities I)

However, you CAN take Peace Studies because it is open to all faculties

Is it possible to still take MMEDIA 1B03 and KINESIOL 1Y03 even though they're "full"? Kinesiology wouldn't even have been full for me had SOLAR been working the way it was supposed to this morning.

Hey so easy classes I took linguistics 1A03 and LOVED it. it was a really interesting class, but also pretty easy i found. I ended up taking 1AA3 second semester, even though i hadn't originally wanted to.
I second THeatre and Film 1B03, also really interesting, but straitforward. Although NOT as easy as you think it would be, You actually do have to read all of the assigned material, and go to all of the screenings to do well on the exams (they're all multiple choice)
Hope that works!

Hi there, just wondering can anyone please give their opinion on any of the following courses especially the socisci ones.
My courses for this year:
BIO 1A03
BIO 1M03
CHEM 1AA3
CHEM 1A03
ENVIR SC 1A03
MATH 1A03
PHYSICS 1L03
PSYCH 1X03
SOC SCI 2O03
SOC SCI 2P03 > these two are my electives, being tuaght by G, VOROS.
I just dropped INQUIRY 1SC3 because i thought have ing 6 courses 2nd term was going to be a killer and 1SCE is a full year course and only worth 3 units. so i went with the social sciences.

ENGLISH course!?
So i know this has nothing to do with the previous posts but i don't know how to navigate this site yet. so im going to post my question on this thread.
So i have to take an english course that is about essays where i write ones with approx. 1,500 words and there is evidence of writing critique on my essays.
I have no clue what kind of course this would be. would ENG 1a03 fullfill these requirements?
(btw. this is a requirement to get into a physio school at western)

Hey guys, I'm a first year going into Business I and I'm just looking for some advice on my electives. I don't want to pick anything that too ridiculously hard, since the Business I requirements are pretty heavy to begin with. Right now, I'm looking at taking:

- COMMERCE 1PA0
- COMMERCE 1E03
- COMP SCI 1BA3
- MATH 1M03
- ECON 1B03
- ECON 1BB3
- STATS 1L03
- GEOG 1HA3

So I'm working on my last 9 Units for Electives, and I know I already want to take COMP SCI 1MD3, but I'm stuck on what to do for my last 6 Units, and I don't want to take anything that's going to be even more challenging.

I was looking at RELIG ST 1B06, because it looks really interesting and fits well into my schedule, but I've heard it's a pretty essay-heavy course. Anyone have any advice as to whether or not it's a workable course, especially with all the other stuff that I'm taking.

I thought about MMEDIA 1B03, the digital image course, but I wasn't too sure about what it focused on. If anyone knows anything about it, I was wondering if it was more of an art-related course, or if it focuses more on computers and web pages and stuff like that.

If anyone could offer any sort of insight as to what these courses are like, or any advice as to what you guys think I could do, it'd be greatly appreciated

Mmedia 1B03 focuses on photoshop and such. So if you're good at it, it should be a breeze. Even if you don't know photoshop, I know they teach you along the way.

I would take the other Geo as well. They're both pretty easy and similiar.

Guys, help me out here?
I need 2 electives, and I'm thinking about Inquiry Science, Multimedia 1B03, Hispanic 1Z06 or that Env Sci thing for easy marks. Do i really need Inquiry? Do you think Hispaniz 1z06 would be hard for a beginner? And would Multimedia 1b03 be too time-consuming? Last, would Env Sci be too boring?
Replies would be awesome!
