yeah. it was really easy for the majority of the course.
you might get confused when you get to vector spaces, but asking the prof/TAs/doing practice problems will get you over this hurdle.
just don't undermine it and leave it til last minute. it's easy in terms of understanding the material + getting a grasp of it easily

the exam wasn't too bad, but i'd definitely label this course as one of the easier courses

Have you checked out the course reviews section yet http://www.macinsiders.com/forumdisp...s-81.html?f=81 ? It contains all that information. Also, you can google "geo 1ha3 course outlline" for the specific marking scheme, how many essays, tutorials, etc. Or, you could also use the master timetable (https://adweb.cis.mcmaster.ca /mtt/) to check for tutorials/labs.

Also, my review for Hth Age 1BB3-http://www.macinsiders.com/showthread.php?ltr=H& t=37027 Feel free to ask any questions about the course in its respective thread

math 1f03, especially if you have taken calculus already. It will be a complete waste of time but an easy elective if thats your goal.

Can someone please tell me about the difficulty level of these courses! I only have a day left to decide!

I took Art History 1A03 last year and I absolutely loved it! It talked a lot more about techniques rather than the narrative of particular pieces, however I had Dr. Davies and he's a great lecturer. If you have him, everything that you're tested on will be covered in lecture and you don't need to rely on the textbook at all. Even if he isn't taking it, this is a great course if you have even a slight interest in art. There's also a heavy emphasis on Roman architecture at the end which I found to be great!

That sounds like an interesting course. What is the mark breakdown?

Geo 1Ha3 or Econ 1bb3? Everyone says Econ is easy, but is it really the easiest elective? Is it worth giving up that variety for a gpa booster. (Engineers really need the gpa

It also sucks that music is full =/, since we have to choose electives after everyone else

uf, that course was aaaawful. And I LOVE art + art history.

Dr. Davies is incredibly nice, but he's not a great lecturer. He more talks "at" you instead of being concise. It sounds more like banter over cocktails. YOu can never really tell what is important information and what isn't- your TA would do a better job at it.

The textbook is incredibly expensive as well.

Hi, I'm a first year humanities student. What's easier, Linguistics 1a03 or Anthro 1aa3? Also, do I have to contact the social sciences faculty and ask to join or can I just add the course.
