Not to sure, however first year economics courses initially had the reputation of being "bird" perhaps she is trying to remove it.

Just to clarify to you guys, the Aplia assignments were removed because the requirement to pay for Aplia in order to complete graded assignments violated a McMaster bylaw. Any test/quiz/whatever else is graded must not be graded through an external means that requires a student to pay additional fees. This Aplia removal took effect starting this term.

There was obviously some laziness involved with the prof, since the tools to give out quizzes are given in A2L. Aplia however writes the quizzes for her

If she wants to lower enrollment for next year and possibly make some other faculties unhappy... otherwise, she might raise the marks a bit.

Aplia was removed because of SRA though I think. But that could be possible..it was still pretty 'bird' to me though.. I heard that 1B03 got tougher this term too *shrug*

just calculated my mark its 89.1. if i just get 1 extra mark on final it will make it 89.8. shit shit shit shit

ya true. But I think she said that final exam avg is usually low 60s, but ours is 58 + we dont have aplia.

Damn I dropped big time. Went in with an 88, finished with an 80 (Got a 72 on the exam). Well that's disappointing!
