Or I can molest the test on minimal sleep 'cause I'm not a pansy. >5 hours of sleep is for chumps.

Not every student takes caffeine to get through the day, I still have yet to have a coffee or tea. I also despise the taste of energy drinks, and I don't drink pop for its caffeine, in fact I become tired after drinking pop.
Also: I have 830 classes every morning and I am not tired when I get to class, I just sleep longer nowadays because it makes me more alert. Last year however I was able to get through 3 weeks of class, having only 4-5 hours of sleep a night, and I woke up just fine, but after a while I got really sleep deprived lol
I'm probably just a weirdo when it comes to caffeine lol

I'm the same way

Except you're a coffee addict, just like every ******y hipster. So no, technically you couldn't make it on 5 hours sleep.
Even ignoring me on MI, eh?

I did 2 of my exams with less than 5 hours of sleep and got 11's in both classes. All with the aid of mass amounts of caffeine in my system.... gosh im such an idiot. I forgot all about memory retention and the need for 8 plus hours of sleep!
:(

Huh, I didn't think Popeyes would have it. They were my first bet but I took them as more of a bodybuilding-type store.

It doesn't mutate the cells...it can have an effect on your DNA, though. It inhibits several enzymes (such as those involved in DNA repair mechanisms) but it's not nearly as drastic as what you're describing.
Also, not everyone experiences caffeine withdrawal...I can go from having 2-3 cups of coffee per day for several weeks, to suddenly having no coffee for several weeks, and I have no sketchy effects.
I think most of the withdrawal is because while you were on caffeine, your body was compensating for the increase in stimulation by decreasing the amount of natural chemicals with the same stimulatory effect, so then when you stop having caffeine, you are suddenly left with way less brain stimulation than normal, and it takes time for your body to re-adjust.

Lol, actually I was going to say it was fine if YOU wanted to drink coffee and it helps you study. (And to your credit, you did say so).
But the other guy was blaming the fact that not everyone drinks coffee on the basis that their program is easy, which is just stupid.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. Exactly.
