Don't study for it cause it doesn't affect your marks. Make sure you don't miss it though - its very important.

I don't know... I'm just not feeling the urge to actually study when it told me not to; I'm not even sure if I would if it told me to. Anyways I'm just going to wing it and see what I get!

Didn't study for it. Failed miserably. Like brutally, brutally bad. Then again, so did everyone else, so don't feel bad. Still did quite well grades wise throughout the year. Moral of the story, screw studying, start studying for your other 6 courses for the semester and you should be fine.

But cramming a little bit wouldn't hurt.

haha, me and one of my roommates were late and all the reds were lining the streets telling us to run and yelling stuff like "TAKE THE HYPOTENUSE"

Yeah, our plan was to score as low as possible so that they would make the course material easier

Review/Learn the Hyperbolic functions. I don't know if some high schools cover it, but that certainly got me.
While it didn't affect my admission into a stream in any way, and thus giving me no way to confirm what others say, all I can tell you is it's a hard exam, and gives a taste for the McLean 1ZC3 exams coming up.
Good Luck.

You don't need to study for it but you still have to show up for it. Also don't try to bring calculators or cheat sheets, they have cameras in the test room. The test was hard but it gave me a wake up call telling me that i gotta start taking shit seriously in university.

You are an engineering student, though not in the Engineering 1 program.

Comp Sci gets included in pretty much everything the engineering faculty does luckily for us!

I believe everyone under the faculty of Engineering, so Comp Sci + Engineers + BTech kids all have to write it prior to starting the school year (preferred). That being said, we have to take it as well :< You should've gotten a letter in the mail saying that.

One of my roommates was in engineering and she stressed out about it. Although she found it hard, it doesn't count, so don't stress about it at all!

I advise you to bring a calculator and cheat sheet, and if they try to take them from you, scream and cry and throw a tantrum.
