hey guys,

im looking into taking enviro sci 1BO3 as my elective next year but am not the greatest at writing term papers...can anyone tell me what the paper was all about, was it difficult?

also, was the course difficult in general? I took envirosci 1AO3 last year and although I found it kind of boring I still managed to pull of a 10.

Hey, I just wrote the final exam for this course a couple of days ago. Overall, I quite enjoyed this class: relatively light course load, organized lecture slides, and a documentary (almost) every single week. The term paper wasn't that bad--we were given various global issues and told to narrow down to a specific topic. We were given a month to write it, which was more than enough time. There are checkpoints along the way too, so you can get classmates and/or the TA to look over your work.

yea, easy course. term paper is easy. you got lots of time for it and the topics have a vast array of info on them. online quizzes were 20% of your mark....this was an easy 17% at the very least imo. labs were easy to but its easy to lose marks on them. for this one lab, my friend filled out his chart that said keep 2 sig figures. he didnt do that for like 6 numbers and lost 6 marks cause of it lol. dumb little stuff like that is annoying. also i lost 10% on my term paper because i didnt put the due date. you lose 10% on any assignment if you miss the due date, lab section, etc. but the exam was easy except for a few questions. prof pretty much told us what was gonna be on the exam. easy 10+.

Pretty interesting course, the information presented was pretty cool (I thought, anyway). Exam was pretty straightforward and the term-paper is supereasy (and they mark pretty easily too)

take it, easy 10 or 11. Won't be too hard to pull a 12 either.
