Envr SC and Econ, bird courses?
For various reasons I'm currently stuck with these options

Envr Sc 1B03 and Econ 1BB3
or
Envr Sc 1G03 and Econ 1B03

Which one is an easier group? These are not particularly in my main interest, but they were carefully chosen to satisfy a 2nd year option I want (that is unrelated to these courses).

Any info at all is appreciated. If you only took one of these courses, I'd want your feedback as well.

In b4 "its subjective la la la" I know it is, but I want your opinions on it.

never took env sc

Micro econ - more math
Macro econ - more memorizing

Play your strengths. I took econ in hs so i found both easy but i have friends who didnt and still did pretty well

Cant elaborate cuz typing on ipod is harder than i thought.

Im good at both math and memorizing lol
and I think I will be taking

Envr Sc 1G03 and Econ 1B03

I would have probably taken math 1B03 instead of envr sc if I didn't hate vectors and projections.

Envir sc 1G03 is super easy. I got an 11 in that no problem. If John is teaching, he hints at all the questions on the exam pretty much (which I finished in like 20 mins). Some of the material is dry but it's not too hard memorizing at all. The labs can be a bit annoying (there is one every week I think) but they are still relatively easy.

Thanks a lot, I got most of the info about this course from you, I think you did a review or a detailed post somewhere as well.

Cheers

If you took econ in highschool, you can get 13s in both.

Otherwise, depending on how much you enjoy the class, you should be able to get at the very least a pretty decent mark.

You can definitely pull 7s.

Here's a detailed course outline of Enviro 1B03:

And one for Enviro 1G03:

http://www.science.mcmaster. ca/geo...g03/index.html

The field trip for 1G03 is kinda fun lol You go to like 3 different places in Hamilton and analyze geographic features. If you take the course, make sure to take GOOD notes, you'll need them.

I haven't taken 1B03 so I can't tell you which one is easier (N) but it was pretty easy...Although 1B03 has less labs, which is good. Oh but you have to write a term paper for 1B03.

Hopefully the course outlines help, look them over and pick out what you like/don't like.
