Every single year, there is always...
a course that will screw you out of getting all A+
May it be unclear assignments, poorly organized materials, unreasonable marking scheme, or in this case with Engineering 4A03, "oh it's easy to get A, just not A+".
Quoting the instructor: "it's not likely to get perfect, they never give perfect in humanity."
Well HELLO! That's why I am studying engineering!

Really bro? You are whining about an A? You are in engineering, be glad you get anything above 70%.

Your post slightly annoyed me, so I feel like annoying you:
Someone in that class must have gotten an A+

Silver, can you please keep your extremely biased and annoying opinion of Health Sciences students off of every other thread...

If you care at all about the mark you get in that course there is something wrong.

Understand where you are coming from. Took an English course last year; my TA's philosophy was that "undergrads can't write, and none of you are getting higher than a C".

Good class; writing is so much fun. The course is basically a free high mark, kind of silly that you're complaining about not being able to get perfect... :S Most people I took that with just coasted by doing the assignments at the last minute, and used things like sparknotes for the readings. It's not impossible to get a 12, anyhow.

I understand. All my courses this semester are going swimmingly but I know there's one that's gonna screw me. My fault, not the class, but it still bugs me.

Or maybe you just actually suck at writing. I'm going to guess you went to the remarking session today and just came back empty handed.
This course was shit though. It had nothing to do with engineering and social responsibility.
All you guys are idiots for falling for Joel's inspirational bullshit.

Engineering and Social Responsibility, or as it is more commonly known, Watch random TED talks for 3 hours a week.
