hey, i posted in a previous forum but didn't get too much feedback. as most of you probably know, there's a conflict between 2r03 and 2x03 first semester - specifically on fridays at 8:30.
i called them about a week ago and the department said they would "see what they could do", and the timetable remains the same, but the more people that call, the more they will have to do something, this will affect EVERYONE in math and stats II
moreover, you need 2x03 (advanced calc 1) to take 2xx3 (advanced calc 2), and 2r03 (lin alg 2) to take 2s03 (lin alg 3), so if this doesnt get fixed, not only would you have to drop the conflicting class, but the corresponding one second semester.

i'll say it again this will affect EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the program, please call mcmaster at 905 525 9140 and ask for the math department when you get the automated message.

I don't have this problem because I'm taking math 2R03 and math 2C03 during the summer summer school FTW

Have you tried following up with someone in the math department?

and yeah, i called them but they haven't done anything aboutit

they will fix it don't worry.

BUT don't f up math 2r03 i'm planning to take that as an elective.

I'm the opposite lol, I hope they change math 2R03 and not 2X03, so it doesn't get in the way of my electives.

when should i expect this to be done by? we're picking classes in like two weeks

You can still pick your courses. they will get it sorted out at some point because you need both courses to graduate. don't worry so much for now since this a problem that WILL be resolved no matter what
