EWB WEEN: Overseas Connection wih LP
EWB's Weekly Engagement Nights continue!
Date: Wednesday March 3rd
Time: 6:30-7:30
Place: JHE 328 (Grad Lounge)
This week we will be cinnecting with our overseas LP (learning partner) Garrett. Garrett is currently a long term overseas volunteer working in Malawi in the sector of Water Sanitation.
We will be doing a live chat with him over skype where he will describe what he does overseas with the Lilongwe district government . He currently is facilitating the training of field staff in mapping all the water points in the district. Garrett will also be speaking to us about what it is like living and working overseas. This is a great opportunity to connect all of the learning at the past WEEN's to the action on ground in Africa.
He will gladly answer any other questions you may have about living and working overseas. Also Garrett is staying up reallly really late (close to 3 am Malawi time) to chat with us so if you have time to spare and are interested in EWB and development come out!
Hope to see you there!
