Exam Deferral Denial?
Hey Guys,

I am going to be deferring my chemistry 2OA3 exam and I have a doctor's note. Is there any reason they could deny the deferral even with a doctor's note? I'd rather write it and get a bad mark than fail.

It will be approved. I had to defer 2 in one term due to childcare issues (I was terrified it wouldn't be a "strong enough" reason) and they were both approved.

It really depends on your individual situation...the information you gave isn't enough for someone to say yes or no. That said, even though it states that a deferral isn't guaranteed blah blah, I've never heard of one being denied and if it was, it would have to be for a very good reason. You should be fine, especially if it's your first deferral.

I can't see how they can say that you weren't sick. If a doctor deemed you sick then you were sick! So no worries, it will be approved!

McMaster is amazing at these kinds of things...they probably can tell which ones are fake and which ones aren't, but they don't care either way xD

If a doctor gave him a doctors note that means he/she deemed OP sick.

This, there are a bunch of doctors that will just write you one, too. These doctors have not been "banned" by Mac either.
