Extra Money on Meal Card
So basically I have like an extra $698 on my meal card (because I'm an anorexic celebrity in disguise) and I have no idea how to finish it off. I really don't think I'm going to use much of it by the end of this month. SOOO

1. How much money can I have left on my meal card for the school to give me back my money?
2. I'm taking summer school so is it possible for me to use my left-over money on my meal card during the summer for on-campus food services? (If that's even offered...)
3. What the heck is this Freedom/Flex Plan thingy?

Thanks!

You don't get the money back, well, the money on your freedom/flex account transfers over.
I'm almost certain the meal plan is deactivated after the term is over.
If you don't want all that money to go to McMaster, I know the last time I went to Boston Pizza I was able to transfer some money into gift cards.

go to the mealplan site and check your balances.. the only balance u have to worry about finishing is the basic amount.... the rest stays on your account for a few yrs i think... its useful to have some money on your freedom/flex cuz u can order pizza over the summer

Take all your professors out for a meal at various food places.

Also: buy lots of skittles, skittles are pretty great

p.s. buying a non freedom plan after your first year should get you grant you a public humiliation by hospitality services

go to bistro and buy a whole cheesecake i think they only price them per slice so a whole cake would probably cost about $100, i m not totally sure but i have heard of people doing this

Anything off campus comes off of flex though...and that carries over so I doubt that that is the leftover issue.

Buy your family dinner out a few times at bistro, should knock it down a bit- then buy lots of granola bars/spaghetti etc from mini mac. Maybe drinks too since they are so expensive...

Tim Hortons gift cards are not sold or accepted on campus, the last I checked (last semester). I THINK!
