Failed Pre-reqs?
my whole mock timetable went down the drain because solar tells me i dont have pre-reqs for
math 1f03,1ls3
bio 1a03,1m03
chem 1a03,1aa3

WTH!! i did grade 12 biology and math, and isnt 1f03 the same as gr 12 calculus??? i was gonna do that in university. this sucks. what should i do?

im gonna call the academic advisor tmw and litearlly be like ..... WTF ???????
the bio course i needed was full and finally a spot opened up and i was going to take it and then.. it wouldnt let me because i didnt have the pre-req apparently. im really mad

same here!! im trying to switch into life sciences in second year but i can't do that if i dont have bio. how the heck don't we have the pre reqs :\

i took a lot of easy electives like anthro, world religions, macroeconomics, ..etc
to meet the life science requirements i took physics 1L03, chem 1R03 (i dont have gr 12 chem), and i just need bio and math :@

Yeah guys, just call them tomorrow. I recall this being a problem for some people last year too, but I'm pretty sure it got resolved.

Did you also add Science 1A00 and Hth Sci 1BS0? That could be the problem for the bios and chems.

For math, I'm not sure--do you have gr12 advanced functions? Because that's a prereq for 1F03...and since it wouldn't let you register for 1F03, you aren't eligible for 1LS3. Do you have 1F03 in term 1 and 1LS3 in term 2?

SOLAR was closed for two hours this morning, perhaps they were trying to resolve this problem? Try again maybe.

hey i called in today and i figured it out

you have to add
SCIENCE 1A00
HEALTH SCIENCE 1BS0

there online one hour courses about lab saftey and stuff, their pre-reqs for any courses that have labs. Thats why it wouldnt let me take the bio course
i registered in BIO 1M03,
1A03 is still full for me, damn

as for math, i got a waiver. just mail the math department they respond really fast !
