Failing out of Commerce!!!
so i've been doing really bad this year and right now i have a GPA of only 4.6. I am also taking econ2x03 and japanese1z06 in the summer.
My question is, if i get kicked out of commerce, which program will they place me in?
Is it possible to re-do commerce year 1?
Is there anyway to get back to commerce after being kicked out?
If i do really good in Japanese1Z06, will they calculate my average again with my Japanese mark? If so, do they replace Japanese mark with my already-taken electives mark?
Thanks! I am very worried.

You should talk to an advisor.
One thing for sure though - your Japanese mark will not replace any other electives you may have taken.
Technically, your CA is only calculated once you have completed a certain number of units since the last review, so it most likely wouldn't be reviewed at the end of the summer, but an academic advisor can still take your updated marks into account.
All your other questions - what program you're placed in, what you need to do to get back in, and if you can repeat a year - can really only be answered by an advisor, since they depend on your specific situation.

Ok so I am not 100 percent sure about this, but I know you can't redo the year, but you do have the option of filling out a petition, you can get it from the academic programs office.
Talk to an advisor, and ask for the petition. This petition is a series of questions on why you did not do well, and you can attach supporting documents
I remember Lori Hill (the academic advisor) told me is that sometimes they make exceptions to people who are close to the 5 average. Just talk to an advisor, they will clear everything up. Don't worry, you have options.

Start to discuss your issue to the academic advisor and ask for one academic review probation (one more chance to improve your marks/average) asap before May 13...after that time they will review your marks and if you did ask them to help you beforehand then maybe they will reconsider you to go in commerce 2 (undeclared). If you have atleast 6 units failed courses (required), then its time to talk to academic advisor from other faculties, social sciences (economics), etc... Good luck though
