Final grade 12 marks?
i just had a few questions regarding final grade 12 marks and such.. i've been accepted at mac for social sciences and i'm going to be living on res.

the only required subject for social science is english (with a 70% grade), and the cut off is 75%-77%, so i was wondering if in one course (law, worse comes to worse) i get below a 60% but pass, yet my overall average is still ABOVE the cut-off and i have the 70% in english (had it first sem), would i still be in the program or will they kick me out because of my law mark just because its quite lower than my other marks?

andd again worse comes to worse if my overall average is a 77% yet i've already been told that i have a guaranteed spot on residence and i've already paid my deposit and everything, will i still have that spot on res cus apparently to stay on res you have to keep a 78%?

Mac should have sent you a conditional acceptance. As long as you keep all the conditions you will be allowed to study here. The cut-off given at the beginning is just an estimate, it doesn't really have a meaning.

So yes, as long as you get above 70% in english and meet the average given in the conditional offer then you will be accepted.

As for the residence, from what I've heard, if you've paid the deposit you'll get your residence.
