You should check on avenue as the prof usually posts a notice about when tutorials/labs start.

There's nothing to cover in a tutorial if you haven't had at least a few lectures. There's usually no tutorials until the 2nd or even 3rd week of school. The prof will tell you when they will start during the first class.
