Took first year env sci last year, and found it to be a lot of work for a bird course.

Hey there! I am going into my fourth year in the honours earth and enviro program so if you guys have any questions feel free to ask! I think there is a huge misconception about our program since a lot of people do take our courses as bird courses. However, its worth pointing out that the courses these peopel are referring to are going to be elevtives (minus the first year courses) for people who are actually in the program. So basically don't listen to people who aren't in the program since most of them have no clue what the program really entails, since they haven't taken the required courses. There definitely will be a lot of labs and you will have to work hard but it is totally worth it. The program is pretty small so by third year you will know almost everyone in the program which is a huge bonus! Also, be sure to come out to the Geography and Earth Science General Meeting in September to meet upper years and learn about the awesome events planned for people in the program!

it really wasn't fair for that guy to take one elective and deem the whole program a breeze.
