As a follow up to my previous post. I've been reinstated!
Hello again.
I am just making a post to follow http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...7.html?t=43627
I received my reinstatement approval yesterday, I will be joining you guys for Commerce I this year.
Thank you for all the great help, kindness and hospitality.
If anyone is here and has been denied reinstatement and is forced to be off for a year, I welcome you to ask/PM me any questions.
PS. It's not bad.. and it is the most valuable lesson.

ZSimon, I have a question about reinstatement,
I am planning to apply for reinstatement next year for Nursing.
I am thinking of how much money i'll be spending (taking courses to prove that I am academically ready for next year.) and how much of a risk it will be since you're not guaranteed to be reinstated. Is it worth it or should I start looking at Colleges?

I don't think MacInsiders lets you like posts over a month old, and thank posts older than a longer interval.

Does anyone know if the courses you took while you are out of school will be credited?

Depends on the courses. You would have to talk to an academic advisor. Bring things like the codes and outlines of the courses you took, as well as what you think the equivalents to those courses are at McMaster.

I recommend taking perhaps.. 2 of the core courses in your initial program and going to a college level version of your program for a certificate. Because even if it happens so that your courses don't count. You'll always have a certificate, and the university likes certificates very much.
There is also the chance that your courses will be accepted, which will mean winning in both ways. Bi-Winning.
