Nope! The Vegan cafe Bridges was rated #2 in all of Canada, and #1 the year before. There are also other veggie dishes offered in other eateries but Bridges is all veggie all the time. I love their sweet potatoe fries and their pasta salad.

Mac was voted second most veg-friendly uni in canada. thats pretty good. Also, Bridges is a vegetarian eatery on campus.. so you've always got that to look forward too.

And you also have the option of buying a light mealplan and cooking your own food. My room mate did that because Pacific Rim simply did not satisfy her need for asian foods so between her cooking (she was learning so it was funny some times) and her mom sending her dishes home she was all set.

I'm a vegetarian and had lived in residence with a mealplan for two years. I never got tired of the food too quick and Bridges is always really creative in coming up with new meal ideas (<3 Bridges!!)

If you're in a north quad residence, chances are you'll be dining at commons a lot because of its close proximity. I felt that there was a good variety there to keep me happy but it was nothing compared to good ol' bridges (<3 Bridges!!!!). Hospitality services is usually pretty good at having vegetarian meal options.
They are also very good with being cautious of things like using tongs that were used to touch a meat product and your food. They usually have something set up to avoid that (ie green tongs for veggies only) but if you do see them doing cross-overs like that, you can just tell them and they'll be more than happy to oblige you! The hospitality people are really nice!! Get to know them - they're good fun =)

Yummm I LOVE Bridges....and I'm not even vegetarian. The food is so so so good, and it's pretty much the only campus food that I miss right now lol. Plus, although everyone who works for Hospitality Services is really friendly, I always found that the staff at Bridges were even more so.
