A kettle isn't the most convenient though, when it comes to getting hot water on campus. Unless you want to carry a kettle around in your backpack :p

That said, I'm not sure of the answer to this question, its something I was wondering myself the other day. I'll be looking into it though, if I find out on my own before someone else posts, I'll make sure to let you know!

You can use the microwave at the 2nd floor of ABB or at the Union Market. Just bring your own water and cup.

It sucks how Tim Horton charges you for hot water even if you bring your own mug and tea bag. The employees at Williams in Health Sci are always friendly and give you hot water for free if you ask nicely

Marlowe says thanks to Ashlie for this post.

Is the Hot Water at Union Market only free if we bring our own mug as well? Or can we get a cup for it?

Thanks Davey!

If you bring your own mug its probably free too, I believe they only charge for the cup if you just get hot water in Commons. I've seen people do it and I imagine with your own receptacle to carry it in it would be free.

what exactly are you using the hot water for ? like do you need a little or a lot ?

Maybe a thermos? Boil some water before you get to shcool and throw it in your bag?
