Frosh Week for Upper Years
Hi I'm just wondering do upper years get to do fun things as well during frosh week?
Like 2nd, 3rd, 4th years?

How does it all work?
I know there was a concert in the beginning of the year but I sort of missed it lol.

Thanks!

Depends on the type of person you are. I enjoyed my 2nd, 3rd year frosh weeks.

However, entering my fourth year and working for a company, I would rather work two extra weeks in September.

You can still attend most of the events in frosh week as an upper year student. The only thing you can't attend are the ones that are only for first years and ones that requires you to have a MacPass.

OPIRG McMaster also has an annual "alternative welcome week" (namechange pending) in september in which they run all sorts of awesome events open to all mac students, not just first years. Past events have ranged from yoga sessions and poetry slams to cooking classes, DIY cosmetics, bike-in movies etc.

Event dates and information will be released closer to September. It's definitely something worth checking out!

Clubsfest and the Sidewalk Sale are the only events that I can think of that upper years can do

Here is a list of all the WW events: http://www.macinsiders.com/showthrea...5.html?t=61765

Upper years can do pretty much all of the MSU-run events.

eg. MSU Shinerama Charity Casino, Shinerama, IRC Bedraces, Clubsfest, Sidewalk Sale, PJ Parade, everyone is able to attend the Marauder Football Game, etc
