I was told that you can earn up to 3000 without having an effect on your OSAP. Can anyone verify this?

OSAP and Summer Income
Hi,

OSAP expects a student to work full time for the 16 week pre-study period (summer time). An income of approximately $3000 is automatically inputted into your calculation for funding. A more significant income can affect your OSAP entitlement depending on your level of financial need. Working in the summer is recommended by the SFAS Office and OSAP to finance your education and lower your overall debt.
