Switching from Full Time to Part Time
I am in second year Honours Social Psychology, currently full time. I have two quick questions:

(1) Is it possible to complete the rest of my degree part time?

(2) Will completing the rest of my degree part time have any negative consequences, particularly with regard to graduate studies?

For example, in terms of eligibility and admissions, I am aware that some professional schools require/prefer full course loads throughout the applicant's undergraduate degree. But do nonprofessional graduate programs have similar requirements/preferences generally or are part time degrees, everything else equal, treated no differently than full time degrees in the admission process?

Regards,
Chris

I'm not sure if anyone on here would be abel to answer your question. The best thing to do is visit your faculty's associate dean's office and talk to one of the academic advisors there. They'll be able to help you with any questions you have and provide you with more insight than any of us can!

I agree with Sara, These questions are very sensitive and if anyone tells you something wrong, you won't be really happy ... so don't take any decisions about what your other peers have told you. The office would be of great help and they have daily drop in times where you can talk with a councilor. Good Luck
