Going from full-time to part-time student?
Hi, when I first applied to OSAP, I signed up as a full time student and picked up my OSAP in September....however after struggling a little first semester I've decided to lower my number of courses which puts me down to a part time student.

How is this going to effect my OSAP and will I be able to pick OSAP later this week? If not, who should I go talk to regarding this problem?

Thanks for any help.

Also, I plan on being a full-time student next fall, will OSAP have a problem with me switching again?

I got these answers from a website from another post:

"You need to take at least 60 percent of a full course load to maintain full-time OSAP funding. If you take less you're considered a part-time student and receive significantly less funding. There is no way around this. You should only drop it if you add another one. If you drop to part-time they could rescind your loan. You should read the OSAP website and then contact them with any questions."

I would suggest that you talk to the Mac Student Financial Office as well right away.
