Today, PepsiCo announced that it will be rolling out a fleet of snack-carrying robots on the University of the Pacific’s campus in California!

The robots — or “snackbots” — carry snacks and beverages including choices like popcorn, Lays, Pure Leaf Tea, and Starbucks Cold Brew drinks. Students can place their orders on the iOS app and have them delivered to select locations around campus between 9AM and 5PM.

If these were to come to McMaster, would you order snacks from them? Or is this pushing laziness too far?

Probably cost even more than the insane prices at the cafeteria. And the company who owns the monopoly on food sales at Mac would never allow it.

They seem small enough, though, that you could break one open with a crowbar.
