How to get to Airport?
Does anyone know of an inexpensive mean to get to Pearson airport to pick up a friend? I wanna go pick up my friend from the airport but none of my friends in Hamilton has a car to drive me and bus/transit service is quite expensive, especially since I want to cover expenses for three ways. Two ways (back and forth) for myself + one way (airport to Hamilton) for friend.

Thanks!

I think the cheapest is to first take the GO to square one and then MiWay route #7 at the bus terminal to the airport. Not the most convenient, but should be around $30 for three ways.

Thanks. Do you know the breakdown for each of the bus routes fees?

Well, I have a 10-ride pass to square one ($66.75), so $6.675 one way.

MiWay is $3 if you just pay the fare when u get on.

That's $9.675 one-way

MiWay would be horrible if there's luggage.

GO Bus to Bramalea and then GO Bus to the Airport. Same for the way back.

I think it's 21, but it caries between car rental companies. I think you also need a credit card, even if you are paying with other means.

A car rental would probably be more than $50 for someone that is under 25, you have to pay for insurance on the car as well.

I believe it's 65 cents for Miway if you're connecting to go so it would only be like 7 bucks each way

EDIT: Its 70 cents to and from the GO train

Yes, all the public transit stops (including Miway, GO Bus, TTC and Brampton Transit) are right outside Terminal 1.

I'm telling you man, if you have luggage. Take the GO Bus to Bramalea and then transfer to the Airport Express (It's affiliated with GO so you don't have to pay extra and MiWay is slower because it goes through the city)
