Take the HSR to the Hamilton Go Centre (51, 5A, etc.)
Take the 18 to Aldershot Go Station, which takes you to the Lakeshore West Train = $6.50 (around there, or $6.35)

Or take the 18B, not sure how much this costs. But it's just the bus, not the train.

killza says thanks to Cliu91 for this post.

If you want to go there for free, you can ask for transfer from HSR driver and use it for Burlington Transit. Take BT at the stop near Jackson Sq and it should take around 40-ish minutes to get to Burlington GO.

So much blatant misinformation in here.

The 15 runs on campus, not the 18. The 15 runs to campus on Sundays, but not from.

If you want to get to Burlington GO, you can go to the Hamilton GO Centre and take the 18 (Aldershot). Better yet, if you don't feel like going to the GO Centre, get across the highway to Dundurn & King and wait there. There are plenty of stops for the GO buses along King. Get off to Aldershot (final stop) and board the train. Get off at the next stop (Burlington)-- they announce every stop.

As for timings, it's every hour on the weekend. Here is the schedule.

Fare is $4.80 for a one-way adult ticket.

And yes, you can beat the system and pay nothing. It's probably not worth the 5 bucks, unless you feel like wasting a bunch of time for it.

Guaranteed I'm too late for this to be of any use.

Do some googling dude

http://cms.burlington.ca/AssetFactory.aspx?did =10423

The stop is at King and James in front of Gino's Pizza I think. Take Burlington Transit bus #1. Dont forget to ask HSR bus driver for the transfer so that you could use it on BT.
