Basically you can take any bus going on Main Street to Downtown Hamilton. One of them actually says it goes to the GO Station. If it doesn't then just get off at McNabb, walk straight in the same direction as the bus was going to James and take a right. Under the bridge you'll see signs, one goes to the trains the other goes to the bus.
Take the QEW Express Bus to Union. One at Union you'll have to take the Train to Scarborough GO.
There's also a way from Campus. There's a GO bus that goes from McMaster GO bus terminal to aldershot (or something like that) and you can take the train from there to Union and then from Union to Scarborough.
You'll have to do that research on your own though, I've never taken the bus that way.
