I was wondering if anyone in Eng was accepted into the golden key society...because, well our marks clearly aren't all that stellar (i.e. hundreds of people with 12 averages)...but I hear they accept the top 10% in your faculty? Anyone who's gotten in, what kinda of average did you have? Mine is about an 8.4...which, from what I hear from my friends, is pretty "high"?

My boyfriend got in, and his average was in the mid-10's. If they do accept the top 10% of the year, I don't think 8.4 would cut it. Sorry! :( You can always try to ask them, like Sara suggested.

I got in last year with a 10 average. I'd think anything much below that probably wouldn't cut it. 8.4 is probably too low.

Exactly. It's like $100 and all you can do is put it on your resume. It's nice for to get an invite, but I don't see how it's worth your money. We thought it was a scam at first!

my roommate (not in eng) got into key with like a high 9 or lowish 10 average. i think its not the top 10% per faculty just when u cross a certain mark
