Good idea?
This will be my first year in Life Sciences. I was wondering if I should drop chem 1a03 and 1aa3 and take them over the summer? I heard chemistry is a bit hard and the school I came from had a really really bad chemistry teacher. Has anyone taken chem over the summer? Is it a good idea or no?

imo if you just do your homework and read the textbook if there is material you don't understand, then you should do really well regardless of your high school knowledge of chemistry. Also, it seemed to me as if first year chemistry is an only slightly more detailed repeat of grade 12 chemistry.

So if I were you, I would stick with taking these courses in the fall/winter terms... the key is confidence, determination, and good time management - I know everyone says that but it's true :p

I also agree with lifesciman1.

I would take them during the year, and then take the orgos in the summer.
