Google Chrome & Maccess
Does anyone else think that Maccess should be Maccessible by users with Google Chrome? It's become a pretty popular browser now and certainly a lot of students at Mac must use it. For that matter, MUGSI doesn't open up in Chrome for me right now either (though for some reason I think it might have in the past). Wouldn't support for Chrome just be ballin?

MUGSI still works with Chrome. I don't think it'll ever be compatible, at least not in the near future. You can try and get them to make it compatible, but I think it's too much work for too little people.

Ahh. All day I couldn't get the gateway login window to open in Chrome, but I feel like it's worked in the past.

MUGSI works for me too on Google Chrome, you just have to enable pop-ups for the login screen to show up.

I have the same problem. I'm pretty sure I have java as well. I also tried using different computers, but same thing happens.

if you want to use chrome for Maccess all you have to do the following:
Note: these steps where not mine, found here on the google chrome help site, but they work, though it will only work on the shortcut that you edit

Basically just makes it look like chrome is firefox to websites

1) Close all instances of Chrome first (you must do this).
2) Right-click your Chrome shortcut (say, on your desktop), go to 'Properties' and you will see a textbox field called 'Target:'.3)
3) Append the following to the end of the target field (make sure to include a space. Quotation marks included) :

--user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3) Gecko/20090305 Firefox/3.1b3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)"

For example, if I wanted to do this on my machine, I would make the 'Target:' field look exactly like this (all quotation marks included):
"C:\Users\Bapa\AppDat a\Local\Google\Chrome \Application\chrome.e xe" --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1b3) Gecko/20090305 Firefox/3.1b3 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)"

I actually don't even see Java Console in my add-ons.

I have Java Platform 6.0.200.2 in my plugins as well as Java Deployment Toolkit 6.0.200.2

Maybe try disabling ad-block and trying to load the site again.
