The MACCESS portal, now officially launched, will play a vital role in managing your student resources. All the essential components such as MUGSI, SOLAR, personal student timetables, e-mail, and more are now conveniently located in one user-friendly, multi-functional portal.

Haven’t tried the portal out yet? Take a look and become familiar with it here, as MUGSI will soon be retired and no longer available through the customary web address.

... regular mugsi is being retired while the portal isn't even good yet? wow.

anyone know the Acid 3 test? tests browsers for standards compliance... safari 4 got 100/100, perfect, firefox isn't even close. Yet they can't manage to support that browser? At least let me try, even if it looks screwy. right, google chrome is also based on webkit, same as safari. So that won't work either?

Let's leave MUGSI where it is for now and make sure everyone can use Maccess before you "retired" it.

By the way, if it's still going to be available through maccess, why not just let us access it the old way too?

also, i really do like the portal, but DannyV has a really good point. Doesn't Maccess just link to the Mugsi site? why would they retire the old one?
