Grade 12 Data Management for Stats?
Will you be okay in this stats course if you didn't take data management in grade 12?

You mean 3rd year stats? Does it list grade 12 course as an anti-requisite? If not, then it's unlikely you will be allowed to skip it.

** question wasn't whether if I can skip stats, it's whether i'll be okay in 3rd year engineering stats if I didn't do gr12 data management which deals with probability and stats. Thanks!

If you have the prerequisites for the course, if it has any, then yes. Just don't take it during summer.

From what i have heard gr.12 stats helps when you get the to 3rd year Eng. That said if you dont take it (I didnt) you will be fine. You might just have to spend a bit more time studying on first midterm material (it goes beyond gr.12 concepts after 1st midterm).

The stuff up to midterm 1 is pretty much high school data management and relatively easy. The stuff after is new (at least was for me). You won't be at a disadvantage
