It says right in the grade report that after May 3rd no more marks will be posted b/c they will be in the undergraduate grade review process. Marks won't be posted until the finalized marks come out May 31st.

Damn.

but i dont get it, marks arent even all fully posted yet, how can that final review session apply?

At least they could have made it where you click on the grades link and you get re-directed to a rick roll video... but no grades.....*sigh*

Clearly, we all just need to calm down about our grades .

HOWEVER, I do think that they should release grades earlier so people can actually make plans for the summer in case they fail a course. By the time finalized grades have come out May 31st, the first term of summer school would have been about halfway completed already.

Besides, the earlier the Registrar posts our marks, the earlier they can relax or at least not have to worry about posting marks for a bit...

I think all the marks have been officially handed into the Registrar. For some reason, there is a delay between getting them into the Registrar and getting them online.
I assume all professors had to get their marks in by May 3. If a prof handed their marks in on May 1, it might have taken a few days to get them onto MUGSI and by then, it was time for review.

I don't know, but I think that's it.

I agree. Graduating students have their marks posted by May 11, which is good and all, but kind of pointless since summer school will already be underway and it's way too late for grad school applications.

I always wished the grades were released earlier. I'm not sure why it takes so long - especially exams that are just scantron sheets.

Anyone pissed enough to actually do something about it? I can't understand why students take such crap - we're the paying customer. Does anyone want to form a group to change this for next year?

I'm not sure there's anything we can do. The answer from the University will likely be: "How much more do you want to pay?"

At the present moment I'm more confused as to why than I am pissed off. Did the university release any information on why exactly the academic review process or whatever means the remainder of our grades cannot come out before the 31st of May?

I mean, our grades not being released cannot be THAT important to them if they were able to release some after the exam period.
